Welcome to the Ohio State University College of Education. The College of Education was established in 1907 to engage in research and prepare education professionals. Today, we are nationally recognized for shaping the profession.
As we prepare tomorrow’s educators, we are collaborating with city school districts to improve the quality of urban education. We were among the first to move most of our licensure program to the master’s level, requiring future teachers to learn their subject matter in their undergraduate years before acquiring the skills to teach it.
The College of Education embraces diversity. Our alumni and students represent every continent in the world.
