The Illinois College of Optometry is committed to planning for the future in order to ensure the continued growth and improvement of its programs and services. The "Commitment to Excellence" is the college's strategic plan. The strategic plan draws together the mission, strategy, institutional priority initiatives, outcomes or goals and measures of the progress toward those goals into one document. The "Commitment to Excellence" also communicates the priority of the institution's initiatives. The "Commitment to Excellence" is referenced daily within the institution and is used as a tool to ensure accountability within the college.
