Welcome to The Ohio State University at Lima. There are lots reasons why a student might choose to begin one of the 170+ majors at the Lima campus. Here are just a few:
The Lima campus is a wonderful place to be! It’s a beautiful campus; it combines the resources of a big school with the personalization of a small one; we have wonderful professors; and there is plenty to get involved in outside the classroom.
Some students decide that they want to start at a smaller campus and get used to college life before making the move to Columbus.
Others are undecided about what they want to study so they choose to ‘test the waters’ before committing to the move.
Some students want to save money by getting the general education classes in Lima and then move to Columbus for the major-specific ones.
