Founded in 1963, UPG is still a very young institution. We are part of the University of Pittsburgh, a world-class research university. Our students have access to library and computer resources on the same basis as students at the Pittsburgh campus. Yet we are a distinctive institution that emphasizes a particular philosophy of education.
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg welcomes visitors all year and we encourage prospective students to visit the campus. Many of our visitors are pleasantly surprised by what they find at UPG - it is much more than you might expect!
