Columbia College is a private, coeducational liberal arts and sciences college offering associate and bachelor's degrees on campus and online.
Established in 1975 at Fort Douglas Army Education Center, Columbia College-Salt Lake City originally served the education needs of military personnel at Fort Douglas and the Army National Guard Units in the area. It moved to its present location in 1989 with the closing of the base, and today continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the Salt Lake City area.
Columbia College has been accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association since 1918.
