In 1927 the college was founded as a four-year undergraduate institution of higher education named Christian Workers University. The campus is located in the center of Manhattan, Kansas, a community of approximately 40,000 in the Kaw Valley and Flint Hills just north of Interstate Highway 70 between Salina and Topeka. The proximity of Manhattan Christian College (MCC) to Kansas State University (KSU) provides students with unique educational opportunities as well as a combination of evangelistic, cultural, and recreational activities.
