Since opening our doors in 1990, the University of Washington Tacoma has provided high-quality programs leading to bachelor's and master's degrees. UW Tacoma is closely linked to the South Puget Sound community - most of our students come from Pierce County and surrounding counties, and the majority of them remain in the area, using what they have learned in the classroom to make important contributions to their communities.
We invite you to learn more about UW Tacoma - better yet, come visit our campus to get to know us better. You can attend a college event, browse through our bookstore to pick up some UW Husky gear, sip a latte or browse the shops along Pacific Avenue, and while you are here you can learn more about what a degree from UW Tacoma can do for you.
