Birmingham-Southern College
Birmingham-Southern College is a four-year, private liberal arts institution founded in 1856 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church. For 10 straight years, Birmingham-Southern has been ranked among the top National Liberal Arts Colleges in the country by U.S. News & World Report. In 1987, the magazine ranked the college as the No. 1 Regional Liberal Arts College in the South Region. The following year, Birmingham-Southern was elevated to the Liberal Arts College-Bachelor’s category—the top category a liberal arts institution can attain in the magazine’s annual rankings. Since then, the college’s ranking has continued to improve from Tier IV to its current Tier I ranking, placing it among the top 66 liberal arts colleges in the nation. Herzing College
Herzing College was one of the first post-secondary institutions founded to train students for the computer industry. Since 1965 business and computer-related education has been the focus of Herzing, even as it grew to encompass six campuses in the U.S., five campuses in Canada, and the founding of its Online Division, herzingonline.com. While expanding its campuses, Herzing also diversified its educational programs to include the fields of business management, electronics, health care, design, and public safety. Jefferson State Community College
Jefferson State Community College, one of Alabama’s leading two-year colleges, has provided excellence in education and workforce training for the greater Birmingham area for almost 40 years. Thank you for your interest in Southeastern Bible College. I recall my experiences in 1963 when I made my decision to come to SEBC as a student. During my years here I met my wife, Kathy, who is also a graduate, and formed many valuable friendships. I received a great deal of mentoring and encouragement from faculty, especially former President Dr. Alden Gannett.
