Dr. Bryan Wilson was named the fourth president of McDowell Technical Community College at the Board of Trustees’ regular monthly meeting in November, 2003. Following a closed session, the board chose the 53 year old Wilson to replace Dr. Virginia R. Mitchell, who retired on December 31, 2003. The appointment was contingent upon final approval by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wilson’s first official day as president was January 1, 2004.
