Ohio University Eastern Campus The Eastern Campus offers the first two years of over 250 majors on the Athens campus and several degree completion programs along with the Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies program which is solely offered on the regional campuses. The Eastern Campus offers students the opportunity to obtain an excellent education in a vibrant and supportive university community. Since 1804, Ohio University has been a precursor to numerous success stories. Our alumni are among leaders in education, business, and public life. With every new freshman class, our goal is to provide students with an educational experience that will serve as a catalyst for a successful future. The heart of the Eastern Campus is its people. Our faculty, students and staff are dedicated to community service and to the pursuit of knowledge. Our tagline, "It’s a New Day", is not merely a slogan which signifies a core value of the Eastern Campus, but its our vision for the future. Ohio University Eastern Campus was voted Best of the Valley for 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 by the readers of The Times Leader as the Number 1 College in the Ohio Valley.
