Danville Community College is a two-year institution of higher education under the state-wide Virginia Community College System. DCC's service area includes the City of Danville, Pittsylvania County, and Halifax County. The college, its employees, and students are governed by the policies established by the State Board for Community Colleges and with the support and advice of the Danville Community College Board. Besides it provides quality credit and non-credit comprehensive higher education and workforce training programs and services to promote individual, business, and community growth and development.
